Job Summary
We are seeking a marketing executive to lead our marketing strategy to continue our growth. To-date our marketing has been founder led and as we have grown to 4 stores that is no longer sustainable. Our marketing strategies have forever been bold, scrappy and never fearful of going against the grain. You will manage our videographer/editor and have the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on our future growth.
We are looking for someone with a background in paid ads marketing as that is the crux of our focus for the next year. However, you will be required to engage in and oversee a variety of marketing elements.
Key responsibilities
- Shaping the marketing vision and strategy for the company
- Developing a measurable and performing paid ads strategy
- In-store and physical advertisement design and implementation
- Press engagement
- PR initiatives (e.g. youth/sports team sponsorships and charitable donations)
- Shock advertising strategies (e.g. attractive model content & mountain climbing)
- Manage the videographer/editor to ensure content is going out as scheduled and to a high quality.
- Ideation - must bring ideas to the table across all mediums
- New marketing channels and mediums (e.g. physical magazines, text broadcasts, influencer partnerships, X)
- Social channels management - instagram, facebook
- Development of our Facebook Shop pages and other location specific pages
- Tiktok shop live growth and promotion
- Review and Manage CAC
Requirements
- Proven experience in management, project management, or leadership roles within a marketing environment
- Strong knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms
- Proficiency in graphic design
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability in copywriting, social media management, and analysis skills
- Understanding of B2C marketing strategies and IT-related concepts relevant to digital campaigns
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
