Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bench Joiner/Door Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality timber components, assembling custom doors, and ensuring precise fabrication to meet project specifications. Your expertise in joinery, carpentry, and working with various tools will be essential in delivering exceptional craftsmanship for a range of residential and commercial projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the creation of beautiful, functional woodwork.
Responsibilities
- Understanding technical drawings to produce custom joinery items
- Measuring and marking wood according to technical designs and using accurate calculations
- Cutting, shaping and joining wood and other materials to create products
- Working with a variety of tools, including hand tools, power tools and machinery, to create products such as frames, screens, doors, sash windows, curved head frames/doors, and solid timber doors
- Work to the manufacturing programme, adapting to changes in schedule and requirements where necessary.
- Receive, unload, move and lift materials for working following good handling practices, preventing injury or damage
- Ensuring all work meets high quality, safety, and client specifications
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods
- Preparing, finishing, and painting products to a high-end standard

Helpful Qualifications
· Level 2/3 carpentry/bench joinery or equivalent
· Forklift
· Spray painting experience
· Basic English and Maths
