Kitchen Porter (Part-Time-available on Weekends)
We are looking for a part-time Kitchen Porter to join our team
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth operation of our bakery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Washing dishes, pots, utensils, and equipment throughout the day
- Keeping the bakery floor, work surfaces, and equipment in immaculate condition
- Assisting with general cleaning tasks such as taking out bins and cleaning ovens
- Conducting thorough end-of-day cleaning to ensure the bakery is spotless for the next day
- Helping with some kitchen operations during busy times
- Serving customers when needed, ensuring a gentle, friendly, and welcoming approach
We are looking for someone who:
- Possesses a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and quality
- Can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrates speed and efficiency in completing tasks
- Is reliable and flexible, available for varying shifts including weekends (based on rota)
- Is physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods
- Enjoys providing friendly customer service and can handle light kitchen support when required
