Gentleman’s Barbershop Hove is looking to grow its team with an enthusiastic Junior Barber / Apprentice Barber.
A family-run business that has proudly served the local community since 1986, Gentleman’s Barbershop offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about barbering and looking to take the next step in their career.

We’re an established and busy barbershop with a loyal customer base, a great reputation in Hove, and an environment where the right person can learn, grow and build a long-term career in the trade.
Duties
- Hands-on experience in a busy, established barbershop
- Support and guidance from experienced barbers with years of mentorship experience
- The opportunity to build your own clientele as your skills grow in a busy shop
- Help to run the shops social media channels
- Working days Tuesday to Saturday
- Potential earnings of £300–£500 per week while you’re training, with the opportunity to earn up to £650 per week as your skills, confidence and client base grow. Building a loyal clientele takes time and dedication, so we're looking for someone who is motivated, willing to work hard, and committed to developing their career in barbering.
Experience
- Level 2 Diploma in Barbering Studies
- Strong communication skills in English
- Passionate about barbering
- Friendly, reliable and professional
- Keen to learn and improve their skills
- Hard-working with a positive attitude
- Confident working with customers and as part of a team
