We’re looking for a reliable and practical café cook to join our team for a relaxed, daytime role.
Typical Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Ideally we’d be looking for someone who could work 2/3 days a week.
About the role:
This is a straightforward café kitchen role preparing a simple, quality menu including breakfasts, toasties, and light lunches, along with occasional homemade cakes and bakes.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking breakfasts, toasties, and light café food
- Basic baking (cakes, traybakes, etc.)
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly
- Managing stock levels and prep for service
- Working independently and staying on top of a steady service
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a café, kitchen, or similar environment
- Someone reliable, organised, and able to work on their own
- A good, positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Ability to keep things simple, consistent, and well-presented
Pay:
£13+ per hour (depending on experience)
