Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our care facilities. Your efforts will directly contribute to the comfort and well-being of residents and staff alike, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are upheld at all times.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and other designated spaces within the facility
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are sanitized and maintained to health standards
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed to maintain operational efficiency
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Support with light cooking or meal preparation tasks if required to assist in resident care
Experience
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience in a residential or commercial setting preferred
- Experience working in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and products is desirable
- Customer service skills that promote positive interactions with residents and staff
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a proactive attitude

Pay: £12.75-£13.00 per hour
