Portsdown View is Connaught Care’s extraordinary 71-bedded luxury home in Bedhampton. Purpose-built and open since 2023, it’s a haven of comfort, warmth, and modern elegance. But bricks and mortar only go so far. What truly makes a home exceptional is the person who leads it.
We’re looking for a General Manager with the rare blend of commercial sharpness, emotional intelligence, and visionary leadership to continue shaping this home into something remarkable. If you are operationally sound and passionate about making this Home for our staff and residents MATTER, we want to speak to YOU.
You won’t just be running a service. You’ll be maintaining a reputation, earning trust, growing a community presence, and crafting an experience that makes families think of us as the #1 choice for their loved ones.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience managing a care home
- Proven track record with luxury, high-end care environments
- Confidence in marketing and community engagement to drive occupancy
- Inspirational leadership that attracts, develops, and retains brilliant teams
- Deep understanding of CQC, compliance, and safeguarding
- Passion for truly person-centred care – because good isn’t good enough
