This is a permanent position within a professional household, requiring an individual who takes genuine pride in maintaining impeccable standards while working with complete discretion. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and confident managing the day-to-day running of the home independently. Working as the sole Housekeeper, you will liaise closely with the PA/House Manager to ensure the household operates seamlessly.
There are no children or pets in the residence. As this property serves as both the principals’ home and workspace, the successful candidate must be comfortable working quietly and discreetly around them when they are in residence.
Start: October / November 2026.
Responsibilities of the Senior Housekeeper in Primrose Hill, London include:
- Daily housekeeping to an exceptional standard throughout the residence
- Laundry and wardrobe care, including delicate garments
- Household organisation and inventory management
- Liaising with contractors and service providers, ensuring works are completed efficiently
- Monitoring household supplies and placing orders as required
- Meal preparation
- Maintaining the smooth day-to-day operation of the household
- Working collaboratively with the PA / House Manager
- Weekly online food shop
- Previous experience working within a high-net-worth private household is essential
- Longevity in previous roles
- Exceptional housekeeping and laundry skills
- Confident preparing healthy, home-style meals and comfortable developing new recipes
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Professional, discreet and trustworthy
- Strong communication skills and experience liaising with contractors and external suppliers
- Positive, flexible and service-oriented approach
Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 – with one hour break.
