We are currently recruiting for Machine Minder to join our team at King's Lynn site!
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 22:00pm to 6:00am.
You will be working in a chilled food manufacturing environment and will be responsible for ensuring your production area operates correctly, safely, and efficiently at all times. You will play a key role in maintaining production performance, quality standards, food safety requirements, and ensuring machinery is operating effectively to meet daily production targets.
Your main responsibilities will be:

Ensure your area is kept clean, tidy, and maintained to GMP standards at all times.

Ensure all safety standards are followed and raise any safety concerns immediately.

Complete all quality checks and ensure documentation is completed accurately and forwarded in a timely manner.

Monitor and control Critical Control Points (CCPs) effectively.

Set machines to the correct settings for each product and make adjustments where required.

Operate machinery in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain equipment with care.

Monitor machine performance to ensure consistent speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

Report machine breakdowns lasting longer than 15 minutes to the Engineering Department.

Check the operation of safety guards and devices before and during production.

Work closely with the production team to achieve daily targets and departmental objectives.

Comply with all food handling, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
