Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks to join metal components with accuracy and safety, adhering to project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other construction-related duties.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely to move materials and equipment necessary for various projects.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and maintain equipment functioning smoothly.
- Assist with roofing installations or repairs, ensuring durability and weather resistance.
- Operate commercial vehicles responsibly for transportation of materials or personnel as required.
- Support masonry work by laying bricks, blocks, or stones with precision and attention to detail.
Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and saws.
- Experience operating power tools including drills, grinders, saws, and nail guns.
- Solid mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of carpentry principles for framing, finishing, or custom woodwork projects.
- Familiarity with roofing processes including installation and repair methods.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods while maintaining proper posture.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving preferred.
- Basic masonry skills for constructing or repairing brickwork or stone structures.
