Job Overview
We are seeking a OHL Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team at DAC Power. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical documents, drawings and schematics that support the design and construction of various projects in the Transmission and Distribution sector. This role requires a basic knowledge in drafting software and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare detailed drawings, plans, and schematics using CAD software.
- Review and prepare fabrication documents and drawings for replacement steelwork.
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of all drafts and revisions.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and challenges.
Skills
- Knowledge/Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation or Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
