We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team in Downtown Boston.
This role is primarily based within our Bed Linens, Bath and Soft Furnishings department, a varied and specialist area of the store. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with sales and enquiries, process customer orders, replenish stock and help maintain attractive and well-presented displays.
As this is a complex department, you will initially work alongside an experienced team member for at least two out of every four Sundays to develop the knowledge and skills required to serve customers confidently and effectively.
Once fully trained and competent within the department, there will also be a requirement to provide cover on the store's till points on alternate Sundays.
Hours
- 6 hours per week
- Usually worked on Sundays
- Flexibility to work additional hours, overtime or alternative days when required would be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service and product advice
- Assisting customers with enquiries, orders and purchases
- Developing knowledge of our Bed Linens, Bath and Soft Furnishings ranges
- Replenishing stock and maintaining high standards of presentation
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the department
- Processing transactions accurately at the till points when required
- Working as part of a team to deliver an excellent shopping experience

- Previous retail experience would be beneficial, but full training will be provided
