Natural Selection, part of the Evolution Foods is an upcoming manufacturing nut butter business based in Telford. Specialising in the development and production of high-quality nut butter products for some of the major UK supermarkets
Employing roughly 50 staff across two sites in Telford, the business is continuing to invest in its manufacturing capability and product innovation strategy, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, category development and commercial growth.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven individual to join our business. In this role you will be responsible for leading and developing all factory operations to support significant growth and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality and delivery targets
- Development and implementation of operational strategies to support growth
- Manage and monitor operational budgets to control manufacturing costs
- Drive continuous improvement
- Manage workforce planning
- Working closely with key functions to ensure all compliancy standards are met
- Strong involvement with capacity projects
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong leadership skills to oversee the operations team
- Commercial awareness to make the correct operational decisions
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Adaptable and solutions-focused in a fast-moving environment
- Resilient
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing at a Senior level or working towards
- Understanding of BRCGS standards and food safety regulations
- Six Sigma or Lean experience methodologies
- People management experience
- Full UK driving licence
Pay: £50,000.00 per year
