Gardening Assistant (Self-Employed / Flexible Hours)
Are you enthusiastic about the outdoors, physically fit, and looking for flexible work? We are seeking a reliable Self-Employed Gardening Assistant to join us on a flexible, part-time basis with occasional weekend work.
The Role
General Maintenance: Mowing lawns, weeding, hedge trimming, planting, garden clearance and more.
Flexibility: Hours will vary based on weather and workload—ideal for balancing around other commitments. 4-5 days per week likely available for the right candidate.
Weekend Work: Occasional Saturdays or Sundays during peak seasons.
Requirements
Transport: Must have your own transport to reach the designated pick-up point, or live within close walking/cycling distance.
Status: Must be registered (or willing to register) as self-employed and responsible for your own tax/NI.
Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, physically capable, and happy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Experience: Previous gardening experience is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
Details & Pay
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience).
Location: Pick-up point details provided upon application; local travel to client sites provided from there.
