Job Overview
Reporting directly to the head of commercial, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing new customer accounts, and supporting the growth of existing accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and delivering results.
Guidance hours are 8:30 till 5pm Mon till Thurs, 8:30 till 14:30 Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets and industries.
- Generate and qualify sales leads through prospecting, networking, and customer engagement.
- Develop internal sales procedures.
- Build strong relationships with potential customers and key decision-makers.
- Support the growth and development of existing customer accounts.
- Work closely with customers to understand their packaging, moulding and operational requirements.
- Promote the company's plastic moulding and returnable packaging solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately report activity through the CRM system.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the company's growth objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in Sales development, account management, or a customer-facing commercial role.
- Experience within manufacturing, plastics, packaging, logistics, or industrial sectors would be advantageous.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Self-motivated, organised, and target driven.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
