About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and organised Office Manager to join our growing domiciliary care service in Rotherham.
As our service continues to expand, you will play a key role in leading the day-to-day office function, supporting the Registered Manager, and ensuring the smooth operation of a busy care office. You will be responsible for overseeing administrative processes, supporting recruitment activities, assisting with compliance requirements, and helping to drive operational excellence.
You will be supported by an Administrative Assistant and will be expected to provide leadership, guidance, and oversight of office activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the office.
- Support the Registered Manager with operational and administrative tasks.
- Supervise and support the Administrative Assistant.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, processing applications, and onboarding new staff.
- Assist with compliance monitoring and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure staff files, training records, and employment documentation are up to date.
- Support rota administration and workforce planning as required.
- Monitor office systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise with clients, care staff, and external stakeholders professionally and effectively.
- Produce reports and management information as required.
About You
- Previous experience in an office management, administration management, or coordination role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Experience supervising or leading administrative staff.
- Knowledge of recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience within health and social care would be advantageous but is not essential.
