We're looking for an ambitious Information Management leader who can help our clients unlock greater value from their information while growing Jacobs' influence and capability across key accounts and sectors.
This is not a traditional Information Management role.
You will help major infrastructure programmes make better decisions, manage risk and deliver more effectively by improving how critical information is created, controlled and used.Your expertise will bring clarity to complex projects. You will help clients move beyond basic compliance, establish an effective information management strategy and turn that strategy into practical improvements across the project lifecycle.
We're looking for someone who combines technical credibility with commercial awareness, leadership capability and a passion for building trusted client relationships. Whether leading on a major client account, developing a sector strategy, overseeing a framework or establishing a high-performing team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of Information Management within Jacobs and for our clients.
About the opportunity
Our Transportation Information Management team supports complex, high-profile programmes across Transportation, Water and Environment, Energy and Power, and Cities and Places.
We are looking for an experienced Information Management professional to lead the function across a major project, programme or framework. You may also work directly with a client, helping them establish a clearer vision for information management and deliver the changes needed to achieve it.
This is far more than a compliance role. You will be empowered to shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders and create lasting value for both our clients and Jacobs. Here you will help develop a team that directly contributes to building lasting relationships and solves complex solutions for our clients.
Success will mean information is trusted, project risks are better understood, teams work more efficiently and clients have stronger information management capability for the future.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop a clear information management vision and turn it into an achievable delivery plan.
Champion best practice in ISO 19650 implementation, information governance and digital delivery.
Understand client challenges and identify opportunities where Information Management can create measurable value.
Improve processes so that information can be created, shared and used more effectively.
Advise clients and senior project leaders, providing clear and practical recommendations.
Build trusted client relationships based on credible advice and measurable results.
Grow, support and lead the team needed to deliver the information management strategy.
Leave clients and project teams with stronger processes, capability and confidence.
Here's what you'll need
Experience leading Information Management activities across complex infrastructure projects, programmes, frameworks or client environments.
Strong understanding of Information Management principles, including the practical application of ISO 19650.
Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders, including at senior level.
Experience leading, developing or supporting the development of teams within a project, programme or business environment.
Commercial awareness, with an understanding of how to identify and develop new business or client opportunities.
Experience contributing to or leading major bids and strategic pursuits.
A collaborative approach and an interest in improving how services are delivered for clients.
