We are seeking a Learning Mentor to inspire, guide, and support our young people.
We’re looking for either an English and Maths tutor or someone that would like a career change and is interested in working with young people.
This role plays a vital part in supporting learner progress, achievement, and success in finding a pathway into further education or employment.
You’ll work closely with learners, delivery teams, and managers to ensure we give the young people the best start in life.
Full training will be given so no experince is necessary. We are looking for someone who is empathetic, kind, caring, patient and willing to learn.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting young people with English and/or Maths, including initial and diagnostic assessment
- Teaching, assessing, and providing feedback in line with awarding body regulations
- Supporting learners with information, advice, and guidance throughout their programme
- Maintaining accurate learner records and completing all required documentation
- Supporting examinations and invigilation as required
- Contributing to quality assurance, standardisation, and continuous improvement activity
