Job Title: Luxury Jewellery Sales Person
- Sales Consultation: Conduct virtual or in-store consultations. Drive sales through an understanding of customer needs, preferences, and budgets to recommend appropriate fine jewellery or remodelling services. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Conversion Focus: Turn social media engagement into sales by responding to buying queries, providing detailed product info, and closing sales instore or via DM, email, or website
- Transaction Management: Confidently handle high-value sales, including secure payment processing and, in some cases, international shipping or insurance documentation.
- After-Sales Service: Manage repairs, cleaning, adjustments, and client follow-ups to ensure continued satisfaction.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and display for windows and showcases.
- Inventory & Security: Perform stock counts, monitor inventory levels, and adhere to strict security procedures.
- Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and design, communicating the story and craftsmanship behind each piece.
- Bespoke Services: Assisting clients through custom design processes, including preparing quotations and liaising with design teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Sales Experience: 2+ years in luxury retail or fine jewellery
- Education: Degree level educational background in the creative arts.
- Presentation: Personal appearance and manner suited to a luxury designer environment. A natural, engaging, and charismatic presence is essential.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport. Confidence in front of a camera, client or when making calls.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of Gemmology (diamonds, gemstones) and jewellery terms.
- Computer literacy: G Suite.
This role is ideal for an individual who is both creative and commercial—someone who thrives on being in the spotlight while simultaneously driving revenue.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a customer facing role in retail that requires a minimum of one day a week to be worked on the weekend. You need to be within commuting distance of BN6 8UQ. (Taxi is provided to Hassocks Station from the workplace)
