Freelance Sales Manager & Event Crew
People 2 Events is looking for motivated freelancers to join our growing team across our sales roles.
We connect reliable freelancers with event companies across the UK and internationally, supplying skilled people for events of all sizes — from small private functions to large-scale productions, corporate events, festivals, exhibitions, sporting events and live productions.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants flexible freelance work, enjoys being part of the events industry, and is keen to grow with a new and ambitious company.
The Role
We are looking for people who can support People 2 Events in two key areas:
Freelance Sales Manager
Helping us grow our client base by introducing our staffing services to event companies, production agencies, venues, suppliers and industry contacts.
Responsibilities
Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Identifying and approaching new business opportunities
- Building relationships with event companies and industry contacts
- Promoting People 2 Events’ freelance staffing services
- Managing leads and following up with potential clients
- Working closely with the team to understand client staffing requirements
- Helping grow the company’s presence within the events industry
What We’re Looking For
- Confident, reliable and professional people
- Good communication skills
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Previous sales experience is beneficial but not essential
- Previous event, hospitality, production, staffing or recruitment experience is a bonus
- Existing industry contacts would be helpful
- Willingness to learn and grow with the business
- Ability to work well as part of a team on site
This role will suit someone who understands that results come from consistency, reliability and relationship building. You’ll have support from the team, weekly check-ins, and training on the company and services we provide, but there will also be a strong “learn on your feet” element to the role.
