Vivisol are currently hiring for a Service Technician in our Stirling plant. We are looking for someone to join our team of service technicians who are carrying out the testing, repairing and maintenance of all medical devices on site. The Senior Technician position is based in our Stirling plant, working 40 hours per week with a shift pattern of:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4pm
The ideal candidate must have drive and passion to move forwards with their career, and any technical experience is desired. Repairs, maintenance, fixes, etc. electrical or mechanical, ideally.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Testing, repairing, and servicing medical devices
- Carrying out processing, repairs, refurbishments and testing medical devices
- Changing component parts, carrying out fault finding, testing parts, etc.
- Repairing equipment by swapping valves, rebuilding compressors, repairing leaks, etc.
- Fully documenting service reports
- Ensuring equipment meets manufacturer and technical standards suitable for use by patients
- Ensuring equipment output matches the needs of the business
Required candidate experience:
- Previous experience in a technician role is desirable
- A qualification in a technical discipline in Mechanical/Electrical Engineers (i.e. ONC, HNC, etc.) is desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills
