Preparation and delivery of off the job learning sessions in centre and at employer’s premises.
To develop effective training and assessment methods.
Identify and assess learners' needs and put in place robust learning plans, with realistic and challenging goals, that enable learners to understand their personal journey and realise their potential
Maintain up to date and legible training records. Making work based visits to timescales.
Ensure workplace reviews are completed within timescales and involve supervisor/mentor.
Responsibility for the development of learners to ensure timely completion.
Actively support, mentor and motivate learners across the entire learner journey, to help them with the timely completion of their learning goals and achievement of their apprenticeship standard. Contact will be varied and will include face to face, email and virtual.
Assessment of learner’s achievements together with the necessary paperwork and submission for verification purposes when necessary.
Maintaining documents to ensure compliance with the funding rules and assessment requirements.
Observe, mark, assess and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the awarding body. Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help the learner maximise their potential.
Administration of learners files within job role.
Provide staff cover when required. (within remit of own job role)
Attend staff and team meetings.
Undertake the completion of own development to required level - keeping CPD records.
To undertake any other duties as and when requested, relevant to the needs of the business.
Excellent IAG: To carry out and use initial assessment of potential learners, and ensure that additional support needs are met and to provide quality information, advice and guidance to learners and therefore enhance career progression opportunities
Promoting the centre to secure new and repeat business.
