Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated part1/ Part 2 Scaffolder / Advanced Scaffolder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, assembling, and dismantling complex scaffolding structures on various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable access solutions for ongoing projects. Duties
- Erect, modify, and dismantle advanced scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Interpret engineering drawings and scaffolding plans to execute precise assembly procedures
- Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding to ensure stability, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate scaffold placement and modifications as needed
- Utilize a wide range of hand tools and power tools for fabrication, adjustments, and repairs of scaffolding components
- Apply skills in carpentry, roofing, masonry, welding, plumbing, electrical work, and construction painting as required for specialized scaffolding tasks
- Maintain detailed records of scaffold inspections, modifications, and safety checks to ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a part 1 Part 2 or Advanced Scaffolder with relevant certifications (e.g., CISRS Part 1-2 or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding techniques, safety procedures, and relevant industry standards
- Demonstrated proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret engineering plans accurately
- Skills in related trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, welding, electrical work, plumbing or construction painting are highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions
