GR8 Connect Services is looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Home Care Assistants and Carers to join our growing team. We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy helping others and want to make a positive difference in the lives of the people they support.
We welcome applications from Home Care Assistants, Support Workers and Care Workers — previous experience is preferred but not essential, as full training is provided.

Pay & Shifts
- Temporary: £12.50 – £14.50 per hour
- Permanent: £26,000 – £30,000 per year
- 8, 10 and 12-hour shifts available
- Day, evening and night shifts
- Weekdays, weekends and bank holidays
- Alternate weekend working required
- Flexible shift patterns — permanent and temporary positions available

About the Role
As a Carer, you'll support individuals with their everyday care needs, helping them maintain their dignity, independence, wellbeing and quality of life within their own homes and community.
Caring involves:
- Personal care – assisting with washing, showering, toileting, dressing and medication
- Household support – laundry, cleaning, meal preparation and cooking
- Community support – accompanying people to shops, appointments or social events
- Specialised care – supporting people with specific needs, including dementia and autism
- Supporting mobility, independence, hydration and nutrition
- Observing and reporting changes in wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Building respectful, positive relationships with service users and their families
- Working confidently both independently (lone working) and as part of a team
Requirements
- Around one year's previous experience as a Home Care Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker (preferred, not essential)
- Right to work in the UK (please note: we do not offer visa sponsorship)
- Valid or Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one (free of charge)
- Overseas Police Check where applicable
- Occupational Health clearance where required
- Relevant health and immunisation documentation where required
- Good spoken and written English
- Reliable, trustworthy and comfortable with lone working
- A caring, dependable personality and genuine commitment to improving quality of life for vulnerable people in the local community
- Comfortable travelling between different service users' homes
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
