Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CSCS Certified Bricklayer to join our dynamic construction team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality bricklaying and masonry work, contributing to the successful completion of diverse building projects. Your expertise will help ensure structures are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stones with precision, following detailed blueprints and specifications
- Prepare surfaces and foundations using hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment
- Mix mortar and other materials to achieve optimal consistency for bonding purposes
- Use carpentry skills to frame structures or support temporary scaffolding as needed
- Perform roofing tasks or assist with roofing installations when required
- Operate welding equipment for structural repairs or reinforcement projects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or related construction trades
- Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and hammers
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, and mixers
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques relevant to masonry projects
- Experience with roofing installation or repair is a plus
- Ability to operate welding equipment for structural applications is desirable
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to work in compliance with industry standards
