Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with medication pickups and inquiries at the pharmacy counter
- Verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and completeness before dispensing medications
- Support pharmacy technicians with medication preparation and inventory management
- Provide clear information on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects to patients
- Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient interactions in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist in organizing stock, restocking shelves, and managing inventory levels efficiently
- Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to ensure timely and safe medication delivery
Skills
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations
