Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cook/ Chef to join our small but busy kitchen! Must be able to work weekends and work well within a fast paced and environment
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items ensuring consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
- Assist with meal preparation during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels, restock ingredients, and communicate supply needs to management.
- Support team members by collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet service goals.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food safety practices, and sanitation standards.
- Hands-on culinary experience demonstrating proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles related to food service roles.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
