An ambitious, fast-growing manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor to join its expanding team in Keighley.

This is a hands-on, highly visible role where you’ll work closely with operational teams across the site to drive engagement, improve standards and deliver meaningful change in health, safety, wellbeing and environmental performance.
The Opportunity
Supporting the HSE Manager, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and advising on all aspects of Health, Safety & Environment across a busy manufacturing operation.
You’ll help implement effective HSE systems, support compliance with ISO standards, drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a proactive, positive safety culture throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote a positive and proactive HSE culture across the site
- Provide practical advice and guidance on all aspects of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE procedures and systems
- Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Coordinate incident investigations, near miss reporting and corrective actions
- Support compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Deliver HSE training, communication and awareness initiatives
- Work closely with operational teams to identify risks and implement practical solutions
- Manage HSE data, reporting systems and action tracking software
- Support health and wellbeing initiatives across the business
- Liaise with external bodies, suppliers and regulatory authorities where required
- Monitor legislation updates and support implementation of best practice
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety or HSE Advisor role within manufacturing or engineering
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and best practice
- Experience conducting audits, investigations and risk assessments
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage people at all levels
- Proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent preferred
- Passion for driving continuous improvement and positive culture change
