The Role
Great Customer service is the most important part of this role. Experience in the sector is absolutely not required. You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing career development.
You will be looking after lawns on a seasonal treatment basis, this involves applying nutrients and herbicides. Also carrying out mechanical operations such as Machine Scarification and Hollow – Tine – Core Aeration.
We are a very customer service focused company, it is really important that you’re a people – person. The relationships you build with our clients is critical.
You must also be well organised, hard working, and physically fit.
The salary is £31, 000 PA. The hours of work are 7.15 am - 4.45 pm Monday - Friday. Overtime is paid at time and a half.
You will have your own company van, which you can take home.
The right person for the job
If you are great at building relationships with people and can provide excellent customer service, you are well organised and efficient in your work, then this role could be for you. Experience in the sector is absolutely not required. You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing career development.
You will need:
- A full, valid UK driving licence
- Great communication skills
- Be a confident ambassador of the company
- Have a keenness to learn
About The Lawn People
We are a small, local business with ten full time members of staff. We pride ourselves on being ‘big enough to cope yet small enough to care’. We greatly value and respect all of our members of staff. Every one of our customers are very important to us. We have a low turnover of staff and are looking for someone who views this role as a long- term career. We have grown steadily over the years and look after around 4000 lawns on a regular basis.
