HGV Class 2 Day Driver – Hayes

The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) Day Driver to join our team in the Hayes area.
The role involves the safe and efficient delivery of aggregates and asphalt from a well-established quarry operation. You will be provided with a dedicated, modern and well-maintained vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver aggregates and asphalt to customer and site locations.
- Complete daily vehicle walk-around checks and report any defects.
- Follow all road transport, quarry and construction-site safety procedures.
- Comply fully with drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations.
- Complete delivery paperwork and site requirements accurately.
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Work safely and efficiently while meeting delivery requirements.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Previous asphalt/tarmac experience is essential.
- Previous tipper experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations.
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
- Professional attitude and good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
