Are you friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service? We're looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team at Downtown Grantham, primarily working within our Lighting and Soft Furnishings departments.
This role is typically 6 hours per week on Sundays, although there may be opportunities to work additional hours, including overtime and occasional shifts on other days, to support the needs of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases within the Lighting and Soft Furnishings departments.
- Maintaining attractive product displays and ensuring departments are well presented.
- Replenishing stock and helping to keep the shop floor organised and tidy.
- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Working as part of a supportive team to achieve department objectives.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys working with people and providing great customer service.
- Is reliable, flexible, and willing to help where needed.
- Has a positive attitude and can work effectively as part of a team.
- Is comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
Previous retail experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
