About the role
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Yard Supervisor to join the Gigloo hire business in Wivelsfield. We operate in the event industry, is there a more rewarding industry?

The yard team is responsible for testing, repairing, and cleaning our hire fleet ready for events across the country from Glastonbury to weddings and everything in between.
This is a very important part of the operational duties and will work closely with the operations manager and sales team.
There will be opportunities to visit some of the countries biggest events to support delivery of our services.
Pay range £33k to £35k depending on your experience and skillset.
Duties as the new star of GigLoo Yard Supervisor role includes
- Take on all responsibilities in the yard for cleaning prep and organising the yard
- Getting all work complete on time for events
- Overtime available and expected to meet goals in the yard
- Stock taking weekly/monthly basis
- Housekeeping
- Keeping team motivated
- Prep for next day’s works with the operations manager
- Time keeping being controlled with shift times and breaks
- Keen to learn and implement changes for improvement
- Must have forklift experience and licence
- Must have a driver’s licence and car due to location

- Someone who isn’t scared to work in all weathers and laughs in the face of mother nature

- Handy with tools with electrical and plumbing knowledge because they don’t mix
- Are you Physically fit, enough to put Usain bolt to shame

Usual hours are Mon – Fri 7.30 am until 5pm (1/2 hour for lunch) although flexibility is required when business demands, including early starts, late finishes and weekend work at peak times.
Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
