Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and well-being

- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update client records regularly
- Drive clients safely to appointments or outings when required, ensuring their comfort and security
- Monitor clients’ health conditions, report any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff or healthcare professionals
- Foster a friendly, respectful environment that encourages social interaction and emotional support
Requirements
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely for home care visits or outings
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding of care instructions and documentation
- Basic IT skills for using electronic care records and communication tools
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ independence and dignity
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or bank holidays as needed
