We are seeking a vigilant and professional SIA Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety and security at our venue, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests while effectively managing any potential risks. Duties
- Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure the safety of patrons and staff.
- Conduct thorough checks of individuals entering the premises, including bag searches when necessary.
- Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, applying first aid as required until professional help arrives.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to maintain order and safety.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner.
- Prepare incident reports detailing any occurrences that require documentation for future reference.
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with an eye for detail to identify potential threats or disturbances.
- Experience in loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure asset protection.
- Certification in first aid is highly desirable, enabling effective response during medical emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions during emergencies or confrontational situations.
- A professional demeanour with a strong sense of responsibility towards maintaining a safe environment.
