Experienced Cook/Kitchen Assistant required at Jobs Close Residential Home for the Elderly in Knowle, Solihull, which caters for 33 elderly residents.
To ensure the residents have menus and meals to meet their needs and choices in a flexible way. To prepare and cook a balanced and nutritious diet within a controlled environment.
To have a full understanding of legislation re: Health and Safety, C.O.S.S.H and Fire Procedures
To work as a team cook to order necessary supplies and check delivery.
To supervise and instruct other kitchen staff as required.
To work under the overall control of the Care Manager/ Deputy.
