Overview
We are based in Kingwood and operate in and around Bristol within a 40-mile radius.
We manufacture products here in our factory which provides us control from conception to completion.
If you are experienced installing casement, tilt & turn, vertical sliding sash, bay windows, and flush systems. Along with composite, bi-folding, patio and residential doors fitted square, plumb, toe and heeled correctly and your making good is A1 then you are what we are looking for.
Recruitment is purely due to an increase in customer demand, therefore we are looking for an experienced UPVC window and door installation team with at least 6 years experience to join our friendly team.
Our customers trust our 48 year old family run company to provide them a well-made product, installed correctly and aesthetically pleasing thus providing them with a great experience with CR Windows Ltd.
This is a self employed position, you wll be provided a company van and fuel card and you must have your own tools.
Responsibilities
- Prior to removal check aperture against new frames.
- Measure and prepare openings for window and door installation using hand and battery operated tools to ensure accurate fitting.
- You will be expected to accurately install made to measure Upvc windows and doors by taking extra care to deliver building control regulation and standard required.
- Remove old frames and fixtures carefully, minimizing damage to surrounding structures.
- Install new windows and doors according to contract, survey and manufacturer specifications.
- Deliver customer expectation by providing a great service for customers ensuring they are satisfied with your work thus recommendations do form a majority of our work.
- Skills
- Authorised to work in the UK
- Valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
- Minimum 6 years’ fenestration experience in upvc window and door installations
- Identify standard required re; fixings/finishing/making good
- Must be able to make good plastering reveals and match render finish
- Aware of health & safety regulations and best practices work at height
- Teamwork essential
