Job Overview
We are seeking a Workshop Engineer ideally with experience of hydraulic equipment to join our small but highly technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair & test of a range of hydraulic equipment with a strong emphasis on hydraulic cylinders.
Responsibilities
- Dismantling, cleaning & assessing hydraulic equipment
- Assembling & testing hydraulic equipment
- Reading and understand GA drawings
- Support the team in all day-to-day tasks and operations
Qualifications
- A sound mechanical engineering background
- A knowledge of hydraulic equipment is desired
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for assembly and repair purposes
- Ability to perform lifting safely and efficiently
- A keen eye to detail
