Duties
- Serve drinks and food items efficiently and courteously to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for billing and change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food and beverages.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing your hospitality skills.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing tabs accurately.
