Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team . Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental milestones in line with early years education standards.
- Supervise and monitor children’s safety at all times, ensuring a secure environment that promotes exploration and learning.
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children’s progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Manage daily routines including meal times, sleep schedules and hygiene practices to ensure consistency and comfort for all children.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Promote inclusive practices that respect diversity and encourage positive social interactions among children.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of early childhood development principles
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of building relationships with children, families and team members.
- Knowledge of the EYFS, health & safety standards and safeguarding procedures.
- Recognised childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Passionate about early years education with a proactive attitude.
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
