Job Summary
We're looking for a Mid to Senior Software Developer to join our engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a varied
technology stack, contributing to product development, and helping shape
solutions used throughout the NHS.
You'll work closely with our existing development and QA teams, taking ownership of
features from design through to deployment while maintaining high standards of
quality and reliability.
This is a hybrid role. While much of your work can be carried out remotely, we expect
team members to work from our North Walsham office at least one day per week to
support collaboration and planning.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain web applications and APIs.
- Deliver new product features from concept through to deployment.
- Maintain and enhance integrations with NHS clinical systems and the NHS App.
- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
- Collaborate closely with QA throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Take part in the shared Duty Developer rota.
- Help identify and implement improvements to our products, tooling and development processes.

You don't need to be an expert in every technology listed, but you should have strong experience in several of them and be comfortable learning new technologies where required.
About You

● Has commercial experience as a software developer at mid or senior level.

● Writes clean, maintainable, well-structured code.

● Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
● Is keen to continuously improve both themselves and the products they work on.
Desirable Experience
● Experience working within healthcare or health technology.
● Experience integrating with NHS systems.
● Understanding of interoperability standards and healthcare APIs.
● Experience working within Agile or Kanban environments.
● Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and automated
