Little Gems Nursery is seeking a caring, committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.
Vacancy: Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Working Pattern: Full-time, term-time only
This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality early years education and inclusive practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with parents and carers, sharing information about children’s needs, progress and development.
- Maintain accurate daily registers and up-to-date records of children’s development.
- Support the emotional, physical, educational and social needs of each child, helping them reach their full potential.
- Plan and deliver an inclusive curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
- Support the aims and objectives of the nursery while maintaining high standards of education and care for children from birth to five years.
- Incorporate the areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) into daily activities and support children’s transition to primary school.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent (essential).
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.
- Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development.
- A nurturing, patient and compassionate approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
