With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Warehouse Team Leader to drive our warehouse team's success and support the ongoing growth of our business.
The Role
We are seeking a committed Warehouse Team Supervisor to lead and oversee daily operations within our warehouse, acting as the primary point of contact for tasks delegated by the Warehouse Manager. This role is crucial in upholding business standards, ensuring all processes are followed, and maintaining full compliance with company requirements. The Warehouse Team Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, managing stock levels, and guaranteeing accurate and timely dispatch of orders. You will operate efficiently within a busy dispatch environment, develop a thorough understanding of warehouse procedures, and collaborate with other departments to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of warehouse operations to meet both operational and customer demands, setting and achieving targets.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring all stock movements are properly recorded and reconciled.
- Identify and resolve warehouse-related issues, escalating complex matters when necessary.
- Prepare regular reports and statistics, seeking opportunities to minimise waste and optimise efficiency.
- Assist in planning future warehouse capacity and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including carrying out risk assessments.
- Work closely with Customer Services to resolve delayed orders and troubleshoot dispatch problems promptly.
- Carry out administrative functions, deliver exceptional customer service, and partner with the Warehouse Outbound Team to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Manage allocation, replenishment, and batching of sales orders, ensuring clear communication and support from the Warehouse Leadership Team.
People Management
- Monitor and manage time and attendance for team members, supporting the Warehouse Manager in addressing personnel issues.
- Maintain regular communication with staff, keeping them informed about priorities, targets, and operational requirements.
- Support and track team performance to ensure targets are met, reporting progress, achievements, and concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies at all times.
- Demonstrate resilience in the face of change and encourage adaptability within the team.

- Proactive planning skills and proficiency with computers, including knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with flexibility to adapt working hours when required.
- Experience with goods-in and dispatch processes, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational abilities, initiative, enthusiasm, and a strong team-player attitude.
Terms
- Full-Time Employment – Permanent
- Salary: £30,000.00 per annum
- Monday to Friday: 11:30 to 20:00
- A minimum expectancy of 40 hours per week, with additional working hours, including weekends, required when necessary to meet operational requirements.
