About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, governance and regulatory compliance are maintained.
You'll lead by example, supporting your team to deliver exceptional care while building positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and the wider community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the home
- Inspiring, developing and supporting a multidisciplinary team
- Promoting a culture of high-quality, person-centred care
- Ensuring compliance with Social Care Wales and regulatory requirements
- Overseeing clinical governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Managing occupancy, admissions and resident wellbeing
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals
- Managing budgets, resources and staffing levels effectively
- Leading recruitment, staff development and performance management
- Driving a positive culture where residents and colleagues can thrive
About You
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and creating a positive workplace culture.
You'll have:
✔ Previous experience managing a care home of a similar size or larger
✔ Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent required for registration)
✔ Registration with Social Care Wales
✔ A proven track record of leading and developing successful teams
✔ Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality standards
✔ Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
✔ A genuine passion for improving the lives of older people
