Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cocktail Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their drink orders with attentiveness and professionalism
- Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Ensure all drinks are served promptly while maintaining high quality standards
- Provide excellent guest service by addressing customer needs, answering questions, and offering recommendations
- Upsell menu items, including speciality cocktails, to enhance guest experience and maximise sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Assist with basic food preparation when required, ensuring adherence to food safety standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and respond promptly to any concerns or requests
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in restaurants or bars, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with serving techniques, cocktail preparation, and food safety protocols
- Knowledge of food preparation and culinary practices is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining a professional attitude
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with good organisational abilities
