SBL Mobile Tyres is one of the South East's leading 24/7 mobile tyre fitting companies, providing rapid roadside assistance and scheduled tyre fitting services to customers at home, work and the roadside. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator & Company Secretary to join our friendly team at our Ashford office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on organisation and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business and become an integral part of our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries professionally.
- Book customer appointments and emergency roadside jobs.
- Schedule and coordinate work for our mobile tyre technicians, ensuring efficient daily routing.
- Monitor job progress and communicate updates with customers and technicians.
- Source and order tyres from suppliers for same-day and emergency call-outs.
- Prepare customer invoices, receipts and quotations.
- Carry out general office administration and maintain accurate company records.
- Assist with company secretary duties, document management and business administration.
- Manage emails and correspondence professionally.
- Support the management team with a variety of administrative tasks.
- Ensure customer information and company records are kept confidential and up to date.
About You
The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable and able to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional and confident telephone manner.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel).
- Ability to prioritise workload in a busy office environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively.
- Experience in an administrative, receptionist or office-based role.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Desirable
- Experience within the automotive, transport, logistics or service industry.
- Knowledge of invoicing or CRM/job management software.
- Previous experience coordinating engineers, drivers or mobile technicians.
