Position: Picker/PPT Driver
Location: Burton on Trent
Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm
Pay: £12.71ph
Our client are currently hiring for Warehouse Operative/Picker's to join they're dedicated team on a full-time basis.
The warehouse handles a variety of products, including large and heavy goods in different shapes and sizes. This is a physical, hands-on role involving regular manual handling, so you must be comfortable working with heavier items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) throughout the working day
- Safely moving large and heavy goods around the warehouse using a PPT
- Loading and unloading deliveries using a PPT
- Picking and positioning stock ready for dispatch
- Using a scanner to locate and book in stock
- Shrink-wrapping and strapping goods
- Supporting the wider warehouse team when required
About You:
- Previous PPT driving experience is essential/preferred
- Confident and competent operating a Powered Pallet Truck
- Comfortable moving heavy and bulky goods
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Good attention to detail
- Safety-conscious and able to work in a busy warehouse
- Positive attitude and a good team player
