Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimise downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
- Physical ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces or at heights if required.
