Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution services.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
- Deliver products to customers in a courteous and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon receipt of goods
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including stock organisation and inventory checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays
DPD Driver needed for MIDDLETON depot
Age over 21 for insurance purposes.
Full driving licence held for at least 1year (up to 3 points) NO INTERNATIONAL LICENCE

£1 per successful stop delivered
Avearge earnings between £100-£150 a day

Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience with warehouse operations and heavy lifting is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps efficiently
- Physically fit to handle heavy lifting and long periods of driving or standing
- Reliable, punctual, and organised with a strong sense of responsibility
