We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Surface Treatment Operative to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the aerospace manufacturing sector, with opportunities for progression into areas such as Final Inspection and other quality-focused roles.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing aerospace components for processing and ensuring finished parts are correctly identified and packaged for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Masking components in preparation for painting and surface treatment processes.
- Applying ink markings to parts to ensure full traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
- Packaging completed components to customer specifications for shipment.
- Handling aerospace components with care and attention to quality requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records and following company procedures.
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety requirements.
- Supporting other departments as required.
Training & Development
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Candidate RequirementsEssential
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, or production environments.
- Experience with component handling, inspection, or packaging.
Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary at National Minimum Wage for trainees.
- Pay review after 3 months and again after 6 months, based on performance and development.
- Competitive rates may be negotiated for applicants with relevant experience.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
