Overview
We are seeking friendly and efficient Experienced Barista's to join our vibrant team at Munch & Wiggles Oxshott, on a full time / 30 HOUR AVERAGE basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in coffee preparation and food service within a dynamic setting. Previous experience is within a cafe or coffee shop environment is essential, however, training will be provided.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialised coffee drinks, teas, smoothies and milkshakes.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks and light meals in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all operations
- Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
- Manage transactional operations accurately, including handling payments and cash
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as required
- Uphold company policies on food safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy
- Basic skills in food preparation and understanding of hygiene practices
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
- MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS
